Joe McIntosh (Oregon)

Joe started his career at Sunbelt Rentals in 2004 as a small tool mechanic in Hillsboro Oregon. Prior to joining Sunbelt, he served in the Oregon Army National Guard where he completed his eight-year enlistment with a deployment to Iraq, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. During his time with Sunbelt Rentals, Joe was able to apply the life and leadership skills he learned in the military to advance his career from dispatcher, equipment rental specialist, service manager most recently to District Safety Trainer for the Willamette Valley District in Washington. Joe is certified to teach MEWP and forklift equipment operator certification courses as well as Fall Protection.

As a District Safety Trainer, Joe strives to give informative classes with real world examples that operators can relate to. He wants everybody to leave his classes with the information they need to help prevent accidents on the jobsite.

Joe is married and has three children (two girls and one boy) and two dogs. When not at work, Joe is spending his time at his kids’ sporting events, beekeeping, boating, hiking, or riding ATV/UTV’s.
