Justin Smith (Pennsylvania)

Justin started his career serving his country in the U.S. Coast Guard rising to the rank of E-7, “Chief”. As a diesel mechanic and trainer during his 20-year enlistment, he was stationed in various places including Louisiana, Alaska, New Jersey, Virginia, Wisconsin, and traveled throughout the USA in this capacity. In 2022, Justin brought his expertise in equipment and training to Sunbelt Rentals joining the team as a District Safety Trainer serving northern Florida. He enlightens his students with a focus on providing relevant, practical, and engaging training and is certified to train MEWP, forklift and earth moving equipment operator certification, Fall Protection, Trench Safety, Crane Signaling and Rigging, and Train the Trainer courses.

Justin holds a Professional Certificate in Construction (PCC) from the University of South Florida and is a Safety Trained Supervisor in Construction (STSC) and Certified Instructional Trainer (CIT) from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.

Justin spends his personal time on home improvement projects, competitive shooting and enjoys anything automotive and racing related.
