Train-the-Trainer: MEWP Operator

This 2 day in-person Train-the-Trainer course allows attendees, with prior Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) equipment experience, to obtain the necessary resources and skills required to facilitate their company required MEWP equipment operator training for their employees. Equipment types include boom lift (3b), scissor lift (3a), manually propelled (1a) and towable (1b) MEWPs. Prerequisite work is required to qualify you for this course.
The classroom training curriculum covers:
- Responsibilities of a trainer
- Presentation and hands-on facilitation skills
- Adult learning techniques
- Required federal regulations and national best practice standards
All trainees will prepare and facilitate parts of the operator theory and hands-on practical training on the 2nd day, allowing for live feedback on their presentation techniques learned from the class. Attendees who successfully complete the course will be supplied with a course completion trainer wallet card and a secure link with training materials and resources (both sent after the class).
